Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes permitted and prohibited uses of Digen products and services, including websites, generation features, community surfaces, agent.digen.ai, skills, tools, APIs, MCP servers, and CLI tooling (together, the “Service”).

This AUP works together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Real Persons Policy, Content Standards, and Agent Use Policy. If there is a conflict on a safety topic, the more protective rule applies.

Usage policies are one part of a broader safety approach that includes product safeguards, review processes, and reporting channels. Encountering a block does not by itself prove a policy violation, and not every violation is caught in real time.

1. What this policy covers

This AUP applies to all use of the Service. You are responsible for your prompts, uploads, outputs, skills, and how you share content created with the Service.

2. Who it applies to

This AUP applies to anyone who uses the Service, including individual users, organizations, developers, and integrators, and to end users of products that integrate Digen.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • The Service is not offered in mainland China. Access from restricted regions, or attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions, is not permitted and may lead to termination.
  • You remain responsible for compliance with applicable law in addition to this AUP.

3. Full-site SFW requirement

The Service is safe-for-work (“SFW”) across the entire product. You may not create, upload, request, generate, or share adult, pornographic, or sexual content — including fictional, animated, or stylized content.

This requirement applies to prompts, reference assets, generated outputs, skill definitions and skill bodies, comments, profiles, and any other surface where content can appear.

4. Risk tiers (R0–R3)

We classify content and conduct into four tiers to explain how seriously we treat different harms and how we typically respond. Examples below are category labels only for clarity. They are not instructions, and they are not exhaustive.

TierMeaningExamples (labels only)
R0 — Zero toleranceSevere illegal or exploitative content. We work to block promptly; accounts may be banned; relevant records may be preserved; we report to NCMEC or similar where applicable.CSAM or any sexualization of minors (including anime, drawn, or fictional); non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII); sexual deepfakes of real people; sexual violence.
R1 — ProhibitedNot allowed on the Service. Blocked; escalating account actions may apply.Adult nudity or sex; unauthorized celebrity or public-figure depictions; extreme gore; hate; attempts to circumvent safety controls.
R2 — RestrictedAllowed only in non-community, non-discovery contexts. Not eligible for community feeds, sharing, or recommendation.Swimwear; suggestive but non-explicit content.
R3 — GeneralGenerally allowed, subject to all other policies.General creative, commercial, and educational content.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to do any of the following. This list is illustrative; we may treat similar conduct the same way when it creates comparable risk.

5.1 Protect people

  • Create, request, or distribute R0 or R1 content.
  • Sexualize minors in any form, including fictional or animated depictions.
  • Create or share NCII, or content intended to produce intimate imagery by undressing or clothes-swapping.
  • Create sexual deepfakes of real people.
  • Threaten, harass, defame, or promote violence or hate.

5.2 Respect identity and likeness

  • Depict real public figures without authorization. See the Real Persons Policy.
  • Use someone’s likeness in ways that could confuse authenticity without a lawful basis and, where required, consent.

5.3 Respect the Service and the law

  • Attempt to circumvent content-safety or access controls (category labels only — for example: jailbreak-style prompts, injection-style manipulation, split or encoded prompts, multi-account evasion).
  • Remove, obscure, or alter AI provenance markings or related metadata.
  • Access the Service from mainland China or use technical means to circumvent geographic restrictions.
  • Use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, or other unlawful purposes under applicable law.

6. Allowed and restricted uses

Most creative, commercial, and educational uses that stay within SFW and 18+ rules are allowed (R3). Some borderline content may be treated as R2: usable in private or non-discovery contexts, but not eligible for community feeds, sharing, or recommendation.

We assume good faith from users. These rules are not a substitute for legal requirements, professional duties, or ethical obligations that may also apply to how you use AI.

7. Integrations and agents

If you build on agent.digen.ai or integrate via API, MCP, or CLI, you must bind your end users to rules at least as protective as this AUP and flow those requirements down. Private skill bodies may also be reviewed. Kids-related and Roleplay categories have stricter rules. Undress and clothes-swap skills are prohibited.

See the Agent Use Policy for skills, tools, and integrator duties.

8. How we enforce

We may use automated systems and human review. Depending on severity and whether conduct is repeated, we may take actions including:

  1. First: warning and removal of the content.
  2. Second: feature restriction for about 7 days (operational target; may vary).
  3. Third: suspension for about 30 days (operational target; may vary).
  4. Fourth or R0: permanent ban may apply; for R0 or repeated violations we may also associate devices or payment methods to reduce evasion.

For R0, we aim to block promptly, ban where appropriate, preserve relevant records, and report to NCMEC or similar where applicable (internal operational target: begin reporting within about 24 hours). Record retention follows applicable law and internal policy (aim: at least 1 year).

Timelines in this policy are operational targets. They may change based on verification needs, law-enforcement cooperation, or other legitimate requirements. They are not absolute SLAs or guarantees of outcome.

9. Appeals and reporting

If you believe we made a mistake enforcing this policy, you can appeal via Report / Appeal or contact [email protected]. Appeals are reviewed by a different human reviewer than the one who made the original decision when practicable.

For NCII and similar removal requests, use the no-login remove request form. For verified valid requests, we aim to act promptly on the content and known identical copies we can identify; timing depends on verification needs. General questions: [email protected]. Law enforcement should use the law enforcement page.

10. Updates

We may update this AUP as our products and risks evolve. Material changes will be posted with a new effective or draft date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you agree to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
